The use of citrus oils within Penitentiary Care in the Netherlands: A tailored Therapeutic Approach

Janet Nienhuis is registered aromatherapist, naturopath and massage therapist. She is the founder, owner and main educator of FytArom Educations - School of Aromatherapy - in Bergschenhoek, The Netherlands.
FytArom offers an accredited three-year bachelor's degree education in aromatherapy of 225 ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer System).
Janet had her own naturopathic practice specialising in pain and child health. At FytArom Educations, students from different professional backgrounds apply to study. This makes her a teacher and mentor for a very diverse group of students. In the 1990s, her aromatherapy adventure began during summer school in Grasse France for two consecutive years. After that, many more educations, workshops, masterclasses followed. Her passion is offering nature’s best options for safe patient wellbeing.
