Understanding Marma Therapy: a gentle practice to rejuvenate and release blocked energy using touch, consciousness, and essential oils

Jonathan Hinde is an aromatherapist, marma therapist, meditation teacher, and UK distributor for the international essential oil brand, Oshadhi.
His interest in psychology led him to a degree in Experimental Psychology from Oxford however, the program did not provide the deep insights he was looking for at the time. Whilst studying, he learned meditation, and then learned how to teach it. This led him to an understanding of the Vedic view of reality that life is structured in layers of consciousness and gave him a good working knowledge of Ayurveda.
After becoming UK distributor for the Oshadhi brand of essential oils, he gained a diploma in aromatherapy, and in 2012 he met Dr Ernst Schrott who became his Marma teacher and organized training on his behalf in the Sukshma Marma practice that he had developed.
Ernst Schrott passed away in 2021, and it is Jonathan’s pleasure to continue the tradition of knowledge he brought by running training courses on Sukshma Marma Therapy.
